Animal Heart 2009

Paul is a taciturn farmer who feels more at ease with his animals and the Swiss mountains than with people. Unable to convey tenderness, he mistreats his suffering wife while showing more care for husbandry than for being a husband. But when she falls ill, he is forced to hire a foreign labourer.
